God’s Plan For Your Financial Freedom

November 15, 2009

Ryan Heller

Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything your land produces. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with the finest wine.

Proverbs 3:9-10 (NLT)

I.          Manage Wisely

Do I manage what God has given me well?

Save

The wise man saves for the future, but the foolish man spends whatever he gets.                                      Proverbs 21:20 (TLB)

            Invest

She looks over a field and buys it, then, with money she’s put aside, plants a garden.                                            Proverbs 31:16 (MSG)

II.         Work Diligently

Am I Performing At My Highest Potential At Work

A lazy person will end up poor, but a hard worker will become rich.
Those who gather crops on time are wise, but those who sleep through the harvest are a disgrace.                                     Proverbs 10:4-5 (NCV)

Wealth from gambling quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows.                                                                Proverbs 13:11 (TLB)

III.        Give Generously

Do I have a generous heart?

The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller. The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.                                                                                         Proverbs 11:24-25 (MSG)

Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything your land produces. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with the finest wine.

Proverbs 3:9-10 (NLT)

IV.        Plan Carefully

Am I planning for my financial future?

We should make plans–counting on God to direct us.

 Prov 16:9 (TLB)

Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts.                                                                      Proverbs 24:3 (TLB)
