If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

The 4 phases of guilt free living:

1) The Conviction Stage

If we confess our sins…

2) The Confession Stage

If we confess our sins…

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

3) The Cancellation Stage

…he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins…

4) The Cleansing Stage

God makes us clean on the inside and purify us from all unrighteousness.
