Centennial Colorado is a rare beast, as it is a relatively young city. The city was created on February 7th, 2001, the name having been voted for by the citizens on September 12th, 2000. Colorado is known as the Centennial State, which has nothing to do with the city of Centennial but instead refers to the fact that the state of Colorado was admitted to the Union in 1876, which so happened to be the centennial year of the declaration of independence. When the city was incorporated, it had a population of over 100,000 people, which made it the largest incorporation in US history.
For a city so young in years, Centennial Co has a lot of positive things going for it. Some of those things will be quite common knowledge, but others may surprise you.
In 2014, USA Today declared that Centennial CO was the 26th best city to live in in the United States
In the same year, Money Magazine obviously thought even more of the city ranking it as the 13th best place to live.

Virtually every type of culinary delight is available whether you want to go for cheap and cheerful burgers, to expensive steakhouses, and sushi bars. The variety is simply staggering, and the quality of food is out of this world. The median home value in Centennial at the time of writing was $442,900 with prices having risen 5.7 percent over the last year. The people of Centennial have a strong faith, and church attendance is growing across the population. One of the leading churches in the area is the Edge Church. Edge Church is not one to stand on ceremony; they are more concerned with spreading the Word of God, rather than worrying about people wearing their Sunday best. This attitude has led to a thriving youth involvement within the church. The church is firmly entrenched and part of the local community and works hard to ensure that everyone who wants access to spiritual help and guidance can access it easily regardless of their situation. Pastor Ryan teaches the word of God in a way that is easy to relate to regardless of age or life experience. The church has two Sunday services, one at 9:30am and the other at 11.00am.
