Joshua 1:1-3, 5-11, Deuteronomy 34:9, Deuteronomy 31:6
Many times a person’s worst enemy is not other people or circumstances…it’s the fear that lies within us. Fear prevents many people from starting a new business, trying anything new, from getting married, taking a new job, starting a new ministry. There are people in business, or people in the ministry, or people in relationships who, at the first sign of trouble, allowed themselves to give into fear and run from the situation. We need courage to live a godly life, invite people to church, for the future, courage to succeed in your job, courage to face obsessions, to guide our children values and compulsive behaviors.
